Its very sad when you're such a diehard Nickelback fan you look in the mirror after you get a perm and all you can see is Chad Kroeger in 2002.  Really sad actually. Comment here if you've ever had a case of obsessiveness over Nickelback and you compare everything to them!

Nickelback Singles: Too Bad

The next single Nickelback released was Too Bad. This song is a very sad song in many ways, especially when you watch the music video. The song's lyrics deal with a father's abandonment of his family and how it's "Too Bad". Chad Kroeger wrote this song because of the pain he felt after his own father abandoned him at age two. Unfortunately, this single was overshadowed by the success of How You Remind Me. It did peak at 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

as life called earlier today I never got to finish my post about How You Remind Me. The song was released in 2001 as the lead single from their album Silver Side Up. The song deals with a dysfunctional relationship in which the singer is haunted by his/her ex's memory. It was named the top single of 2002 by Billboard . How You Remind Me is a truly great song.

I'm going to begin a "singles" thread. The first "real" single Nickelback put out was How You Remind Me . As far as Nickelback Singles go, this is my personal favorite. The post grunge feel and the lyrics make this song sadly triumphant .
