Alrighty..... Here we go again with the next single: Figured You Out! There are less than 0 reasons why this song isn't my favorite on the long road. I love the heavier sound in comparison to someday and the storyline. A man finds a girl that he thinks he knows everything about. He says he loves her for everything, even her cocaine addiction. Once he finally understands what she is,though, he hates everything about her and ends up making her unconscious by choking her. Although the song is grim, Chads raw vocals and the melody make up for its being depressing. In 2011, Econoline Crush sued Nickelback over this song for copyright infringement, saying the song was similar to their 1997 song, All That You Are. The chorus is very similar to Figured You Out, everything else is different. I think the suit was justified; I don't know if Nickelback intentionally stole it or not.

Nickelback Singles: Someday
Hey guys. I'm good at forgetting about stuff obviously. Anyway sooooooo I decided to do another Nickelback single post. SOMEDAY!! Can we take a moment to discuss how great this song is? Someday was the first song off of their album The Long Road. As with How You Remind Me, Someday reached #1 in Canada and #7 in the US. That's cool stuff. The song talks about a broken relationship, and says that he'll make it alright "someday" . plus Ryan Peake has a couple prominent lines in this song and I'm a giant Ryan fan. His voice is awesome, good guitar skills.. I already talked about this. Anyway, the metaphors in this song are great as well. "Just like a paperback novel" etc.

Ryan Peake
OMG so I decided to talk a little about my favorite member of Nickelback: THE RYAN PEAKE! I love Nickrollback to death but one of the things that bugs me is that Chad gets 90% of the attention. I love the other members of the band just as much. I don't know if they like being out of the spotlight more, but in a way I feel sad they aren't discussed more. So that brings me to Ryan. There are so many obvious reasons he is my favorite member.
1. His vocals are amazing.
Seriously almost better than Chads. Plus it sounds perfect on Savin Me.
2. His guitar skills
He can really play!!
3. He's super hot
Handsomest guy on the band!!
4. His wife is a philanthropist
Cool!!
Thank you Ryan Peake for your amazing contribution to this world!

Nickelback Singles : Never Again
I've been busy so this is my first post in a couple weeks. Today I'm analyzing the third Nickelback single: Never Again. This is one Nickelback song that I have a hard time listening to. I love the melody, but the content makes me want to cry! It's about a child who's father abuses his mother and she gets to her wits end and decides to kill him. There is some controversy over whether or not this song is autobiographical for Chad Kroeger or not. Whatever it is, it is one of the saddest Nickelback singles ever made.

Nickelback Obsessive Disorder
Its very sad when you're such a diehard Nickelback fan you look in the mirror after you get a perm and all you can see is Chad Kroeger in 2002. Really sad actually. Comment here if you've ever had a case of obsessiveness over Nickelback and you compare everything to them!

Nickelback Singles: Too Bad
The next single Nickelback released was Too Bad. This song is a very sad song in many ways, especially when you watch the music video. The song's lyrics deal with a father's abandonment of his family and how it's "Too Bad". Chad Kroeger wrote this song because of the pain he felt after his own father abandoned him at age two. Unfortunately, this single was overshadowed by the success of How You Remind Me. It did peak at 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

as life called earlier today I never got to finish my post about How You Remind Me. The song was released in 2001 as the lead single from their album Silver Side Up. The song deals with a dysfunctional relationship in which the singer is haunted by his/her ex's memory. It was named the top single of 2002 by Billboard . How You Remind Me is a truly great song.

Nickelback Singles: How You Remind Me
I'm going to begin a "singles" thread. The first "real" single Nickelback put out was How You Remind Me . As far as Nickelback Singles go, this is my personal favorite. The post grunge feel and the lyrics make this song sadly triumphant .
